'Safeguarding' is becoming a big problem, and not just because it's being weaponised against conservatives, says Mary Gilleece. Children are being put at risk as criminal conduct is tolerated under 'safeguarding' rules.

Inaugural Meeting

category national | public consultation / irish social forum | news report author Tuesday October 04, 2011 09:02author by PAW - People's Association Watchdogauthor email admin at paw dot ie Report this post to the editors

The people's Association Watchdog will be holding it's inaugural meeting at the Red Cow Hotel at 11am.
This meeting will give us all an opportunity to hook up in a friendly informal atmosphere and to chat about our
current undertakings and discuss where we go from here.
Everybody is welcome and we look forward to what promises to be a fun, positive and constructive get together.

We, the members of the People's Association Watchdog, are a group of informed concerned citizens who are engaging ourselves to address current issues and to offer solutions based on our vast individual and combined experience of speaking with people in crisis.

We have recognized that there is no organization in place which sets out to hold the government accountable for its actions and decisions, we do this through gathering, compiling and sharing the information we collect through open forum.

We are not a professional organization, we are private individuals with genuine concerns regarding the direction the country is being led and the motivations behind the decisions that are being made in the absence of any accountability.

Ireland is currently being treated as a commodity that can be traded in for non existent help from an institution known as the E.U., in order to facilitate that happening, the government must disable the country in such a way that it becomes impossible for any other option but to handing over everything to the E.U. so Healthcare is diminished, homeowners must be disowned, state assets must be surrendered, resources given away to a higher command, foreign companies will be given licences to kill the landscape, pollute the water system and destroy the habitat of many species of our flora and fauna through a process known as fracking.

We are not aligned with any political party, organisation, business group or state sponsored association, we work completely independently, voluntarily and without funding from any source other than our own pockets to ensure our work is fair, balanced and totally without bias or favour.

We are a wholly inclusive group and we work from a holistic perspective as it is our opinion that exclusion cannot solve problems, we attend and organize meetings, protests and we partake in online debate to seek acceptable alternatives to the matters that concern us.

We have ongoing discussions on various topics on our face book page : https://www.facebook.com/groups/p.a.watchdog/
and we are always happy to have people join in to offer their perspectives and suggestions.

Our Motives:
We work solely for the good of our country and the people of Ireland, for that is who we are and we want to leave a better place for our children.
