Stop the Deportation of Dawda Sanneh

category national | rights, freedoms and repression | press release author Monday March 22, 2004 23:25author by Roy Hassey - Waterford Against Racismauthor email royhassey at eircom dot netauthor phone 086-3274015 Report this post to the editors

Dawda Sannah, a Gambian national, is currently being held in Clover Hill prison, Dublin awaiting deportation from the state. 24 year old Dawda has made many
friends in his time in Ireland, particularly in Waterford and has been promised a job and accommodation by a local business in Waterford if he is allowed to stay.
If he is forced to return to Gambia, his life may be under threat.

A letter was sent to Dawda asking him to present himself to the gardai, but the letter was sent to a hostel in Waterford, despite the fact that Dawda has been living in Dublin for several months.

On the basis of him not answering this letter (which he didn't even know existed) Dawda was arrested and is now in Clover Hill. The only person who can grant him humanitarian leave to stay in Ireland is Michael McDowell.

Please write to Michael McDowell, Minister for Justice, Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform, 72-76 St. Stephen's Green, Dublin 2 (Tel: 01-602 8202/E-Mail: info@justice.ie) asking him to release Dawda Sannah (DOB 10/03/1980, Ref. No. 69/69/32017/01) from prison and allow him to stay in Ireland. You can also contact local politicians and ask them to take up Dawda's case. You can send messages of support to: Dawda Sanneh, Clover Hill Prison, Clondalkin, Dublin 2.

To get a copy of Dawda's petition e-mail me at royhassey@eircom.net

Go on then..deport all of the blacks from Europe, get rid of the arabs and the chinese..

What are you going to have left..?

The exploiters will still be there, the corrupt politicians and the criminal business people who get tax breaks to oppress you..and prices will still be linked to profit and not need and you'll still have to pay rent / mortgages for having a place to live...and you can sit nice and safe that there is no colour in your neighbourhood..because the person who'll still be exploiting you will be white just like you....

We are all niggers in the capitalist sytem..wake up..

An Ireland free from Racism and Fascism.

Cad is fiú duit cásanna a chur faoin ár mbráid muna dtugann tú na fíricí iomlána dúinn?
