offsite link Can Monkeys Teach Us About Fairness? Sat May 17, 2025 17:00 | Noah Carl
A famous study from 2003 was touted as showing that monkeys reject "unequal pay". However, a more recent shows that the original interpretation was wrong. So, no, monkeys don?t have much to teach us about fairness.

Modern politicians lack the personal authority of ancient kings and so they appeal to The Science to impose their schemes on the population. This is how science becomes corrupted by politics, says Prof James Alexander.

Contact Al Jazeera to try to Save Hostage

Anyone wishing to add his/her voice to the hundreds of Irish people calling for the safe release of Ken Bigley should contact Al Jazeera at
http://www.aljazeera.com/

Scroll down to their story on the Irish effort to save Bigley. Messages from those who have always opposed the lunatic invasion of Iraq would be especially useful, I think.

generally these are thought to be a good thing, because they're more difficult to read.

He doesn't however have this document in his own keeping, on account of him being abducted by radical monotheist terrorists in the fledgling democracy of Iraq.

if it matters what anyone of us thinks,
it would be good, if all the hostages,
and there are around 100 of them
were released tomorrow.

While it would be good if Ken Bigley could avoid the gruesome fate of other captives Bertie could also attempt to save large numbers of innocents from death.
I would like him to rush out passports to all the children in Fallujah and Sammara in the hope that if the insurgents release Ken then George W might stop the 'surgical' strikes on the increasing numbers of babies and toddlers who seem to have signed up as followers of the insurgency

It has been over a month since the offices and network of Al Jazeera were closed by the government in Iraq, so the passport will be broadcast from neighbouring Qatar.

It is hoped by this gesture, the hostage takers will change their mind about everything on account of us not buying submarines and being the good guys.
As is well known throughout the fledgling democracy, which abounds with fans of Rory Keane, Irish movers and shakers have moved as freely amongst the locals as did two Italian pacifist internationalist aid volunteers who yesterday met the pope.

The pope has called for the release of all hostages without favouring or favoring one nationality over the other, but as yet has not offered holy see diplomatic protection to anyone in the middle east country which is about the size of France.

There have been two irishmen killed since the Iraqi war to disarm Saddam of WMD occured a little over a year ago in neighbouring Saudi Arabia, one BBC camara man and another oil company office worker.
