It reassures us that the simple human work of claiming a future can go on. It is also challenging when one knows the people who have risked their liberty in a spirit of anti-war reistance. Both Per and Ulla have visited Ireland. Per attended the trials of the Pitstop Ploughshares ww.peaceontrial.com in Dublin. Ulla lived in Scotland for a number of years.

In the week before the war on Iraq in 2003 Ulla disarmed a Tornado jet going to be used for the attack on civilians in Iraq. Ulla has spent more than a year on remand in prison for these actions and other non-violent direct actions.
