Never Mind the B******s?

category international | crime and justice | press release author Monday February 22, 2010 18:07author by Mrs. Charity Sweetauthor email charitysweet at hotmail dot co dot uk Report this post to the editors

I have been further arrested on two separate occasions for public expresion of "bollocks" and "blair". Both cases were dropped on the date of trial under somewhat convenient circumstances, the CPS offering no evidence. The first case was dropped the week the Sex Pistols released their 3oth anniversay edition of the album "Never Mind the Bollocks - Here's the Sex Pistols". The second case was to be attended by Lady mary Warnock, picking up the torch of common sense from Professor Kingsley and QC John Mortimer who valiantly defended our right to use that Saxon Age old word of bollocks.

Dear Sir/Madame:

I am to attend Stratford Magistrates Courts at 9:45 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday Feb 23, 2010 for a morning listing. My name is Mrs. Charity Sweet. I am a peacelovin Canadian mum of three children with English roots. I came to this country in to take up permanent residence with Right To Abode in 1991 as I had spent many summers as a child in this country and knew I wanted to live here.

I am currently refusing to pay a £120.00 fine for the public artistic expression of "Bollocks 2 Blair. Genocide is a war crime" from May 1, 2007. Four separate arrest warrants have been issued and a further two threatened regarding these matters of bollocks and international war law. The last being the day before I was to attend an application hearing for a judicial review, which I was denied, regarding matters of Human Rights, specifically Article 10 HRA - freedom of expression and Article 11 - freedom of assembly (in places of public access). The previous arrest warrant was threatened three days before Christmas which is what instigated the application for judicial review.

I refused to sign the notice in the police station, point blank and I refused the ticket point blank. I refuse to say a fine for "bollocks" in consideration of the album and infamous case of the Sex Pistols: "Never Mind the Bollocks - Here's the Sex pistols". My three arguments are:

1) The ticket is not made out in my legal name and the police refused to correct said error on the date of issue, at the West End Police Station
2) I refused to contract with these parties as I refused to sign said ticket. I reasonably believe that the police had a duty to charge me and I requested as much on the day.
3) Under Article 25 of the Statutes of Rome, aiding and abetting war crimes which includes providing the means for said war crimes, is an offence in itself. My conscience as a mum and my principles as a human being will not allow me pay a fine to a government that I understand is commiting war crimes in the highest order and their is both international and domestic laws alike that backs this decision I have come to.

It is my understanding that the maximum penalty for refusing to pay a fine is 28 days in jail down to £90.00 of fine paid per day served or possibility of case being thrown once again.

It you have any further question, please feel free to contact myself on. Please forgive any typos.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Charity Sweet xxx

I don't fully understand...? Did you spray paint it on a wall or something?

What's the specific charge that they have on you? 'Public artistic expression' isn't a criminal offence, but grafitti falls under criminal damage and (depending where you did it) criminal trespass.

They can't have you on a charge of using the word 'bollocks' specifically, so the Sex Pistols analogy doesn't apply to whatever it is you did.

Just the facts please, ma'am.
